Alumni Programs

Each year, we have several exciting programs for JYPI alumni, including Synagogue Education and the Incentive Grant Program. In the Incentive Grant Program, local youth groups and religious schools apply for funding (up to $300) to do social justice and community service programming. JYPI alumni choose the grant recipients.

If you are interested in participating in alumni programming or have any ideas for programs, please contact Leah Siskin leah@jypi.org.

JYPI 201

“JYPI 201” is the next step for teens who have completed a JYPI youth philanthropy program!
In this exciting program, teens will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn more about philanthropic decision-making from experts in the field;
  • Work in small interest-based groups to develop funding priorities and research organizations whom you will invite to apply for funding consideration;
  • Consider how Jewish values influence our giving decisions;
  • Decide collectively about the final awards being made to a variety of organizations selected by you and your peers.
    “JYPI 201” will build on teens existing JYPI experience in just 7 sessions from October to April.
